Ambassador Taylor Buries Trump in Opening Testimony

I am sitting here listening to Ambassador Taylor testify and I can’t help but think if this hearing was going on in a court of law, the defense attorney would not even need a chair because he would be objecting so much.

The opening statement and testimony thus far by Taylor has offered a rather disturbing opinion about Trump, but that is all it is, an opinion.

What I Understood…

Taylor has offered his understanding of several subjects so far.

For instance, when Taylor was asked about putting President Zelensky in a box, he stated, “I understood that to mean that President Trump, through Ambassador Sondland, was asking for President Zelensky to very publicly commit to these investigations, that it was not sufficient to do this in private, that this needed to be very public statement.”

When asked about a statement, Taylor stated, “What I understand for that meaning, the meaning of a stalemate, was that security assistance would not come.”

Almost every answer Taylor has given to this point has been his opinion of what someone meant, even President Trump.

So, either Taylor is a mindreader or his complete testimony is nothing more than conjecture.

Burying Trump

Taylor was clearly coached on his testimony.

If he was not coached, he is clearly in the anti-Trump camp, because every word he says is carefully crafted to portray Trump as a reckless president.

For instance, during his opening statement and back and forth with Chairman Schiff (D-CA), a picture was painted a United States president that put his own political benefit over that of the Ukrainian people.

Schiff further pushed this narrative by bringing up the deaths of soldiers during the period where the military aid was held up.

There was also the point that Taylor stated Ukrainian officials were aware the aid had been held up, but President Zelensky has already stated his government was not aware at all of any military aid being held up.

As I stated earlier today, Americans must listen to these hearings and NOT rely on the media to tell them the truth.

If you do listen, you are going to hear phrases like “my understanding,” “my assumption”, “I overheard,” “they overheard” and “I thought.”

We are dealing with a LOT of second and third-hand information in this case, all of which is not admissible in a court of law!

You are also going to hear counsel for the majority blatantly lead the witness down the path Democrats want him to travel.

If this were a court of law, none of this would be admissible, yet this is the kangaroo court that will decide whether or not the president of the United States is impeached.
