Adam Schiff Admits He Should Have Been More Transparent With Whistle Blower
A major course direction took place over the weekend, Schiff’s office confirmed that the Whistle Blower, consulted with his office before filing the complaint. Schiff said he had ‘a responsibility to be more transparent with his time line of events’.
As the whistle blower’s chain events was first reported as going to the Department of Justice first to file the complaint. The complaint concerns a July phone call between Trump and the president of the Ukraine.
Schiff appeared on ‘Face The Nation’ on Sunday, and said, “ I should have been much more clear”. The whistle blower who filed a complaint with the Inspector General,(IG) did not disclose that he first went to Schiff’s committee to ask for advise on how to handle the report.
IG Michael Atkinson met with lawmakers behind closed doors a few weeks ago. It was there that Atkinson and the whistle blower, did not reveal that he had contact with Schiff’s committee before filing the complaint.
The IG’s office was at a loss too, due to the fact that the disclosure was not made. Atkinson also dropped another bombshell, he said the whistle blower, revealed he or she is a registered Democrat that worked closely with a ‘high profile democratic political’.
Shift’s Previous Claims That He ‘Didn’t Directly’ Speak With The Whistle Blower Was Misleading
On ‘Face The Nation’ on Sunday, Schiff addressed Syria first he said,
“I think it’s disastrous. It’s a complete copulation to Erdogan, that is putting thing’s at great peril, with probably our strongest allies in our fight against Isis. That is the Syrian Kurds they were fighting side by side with American forces. We have pulled the rug out from under them, they are being slaughtered, there are war crimes being committed against them. We are seeing Isis fighters being released from custody. Just as we predicted would happen. For the president to say, well they are just going to go to Europe, we aren’t going to have any allies left, with the way this president conducts himself. You can imagine how Europe feels with this president saying, well we’re not really concerned about foreign fighters going to Europe.”
Schiff was asked directly on when public impeachment hearings will start.

On the whistle blower testifying, Schiff claims that the protection of the identity of the first whistle blower and others, ‘security is paramount’.
Adam Schiff says the committee already has the full transcript of the call, so the whistle blower testimony is not ‘that important’. Schiff was asked if he had any regrets about the way the whistle blower information was released.
He said, “ I should have been much more clear, I said so, as soon as it was brought to my attention. I was referring to the fact that when the whistle blower filed the complaint we had not heard from the the whistle blower. We wanted to bring the whistle blower in at that time. But I should have been much more clear about that.”
