The lean to the left in this country is, well, despicable.
People are so worried about being politically correct and not offending the LGBTQ community or the illegal immigrants living here or minority religious groups, they are putting the concerns of actual citizens and residents at risk.
Well, Dave Lawson, a military veteran and state Senator for Delaware, was in a situation where the Quran was being read prior to a state Senate meeting in April 2017, and he finally hit his breaking point.
Lawson is an Air Force Veteran and did his tour of duty in Vietnam.
After the session opened with a prayer from the Quran, Lawson stood up to protest the reading.
He stated, “We just heard from the Quran, which calls for our very demise.
“I fought for this country, not to be damned by someone that comes in here and prays to their God for our demise.
“I think that’s despicable.”
What you did not see in that video is the end of the session, when Lawson was actually called out for speaking his mind.
Then-Delaware Senate President Pro Tempore David McBride (D-New Castle) ended the session by ripping Lawson.
He stated, “I have never been of the mind to censure the words of other members, but I also believe deeply that words have consequences.
“To criticize the sacred prayer of another religion from the floor of the Senate strikes me as antithetical to everything we ought to stand for as lawmakers.”
McBride went on to say, “I am personally offended that our guests from the Muslim community and anyone else here in the chamber today would feel anything less than welcomed with opened arms.
“And for our guests today to be branded as anti-American when our First Amendment of our country’s Constitution explicitly guarantees the freedom of religion is both ironic and deeply sad to me.”
When McBride stated that he was “hopeful we can move past this sad chapter in the body’s history,” Lawson told him he was “ignorant to what’s going on.”

Senator Lawson should have said the Lord’s prayer. If he does not know it, he should keep a card handy and read it anytime someone of another religion reads their prayer. The USA cannot let our kids says any prayers so why should other kids get to recite their prayers?
Outrageous! How can one even be able to speak this way in American Congress houses? To speak a prayer like that, is a treasonous type act. This is hate speech by the Muslim.
I think that I too should pray to God for deliverance from the wiles and machinations of the infidels in the Senate. Nearly as I can tell, they are all infidels and worse. Of course, any Saracen is an infidel too, but if he is not a Senate member, he may be a better man than any Senator.

To allow a prayer from a group that calls for the death of anyone not belonging to the group is just plain wrong. How about we start a religion that calls for the death of all muslims regardless of who they are, will that be OK? I am Jewish but this country was founded on Judeo Christian ethos which the progressive DemocRats are trying to undermine.
Congress years ago passed a law saying Muslims should not be allowed to come into the U.S. because their religion or political party was not equal to our Constitution and not compatible. Some how that law seems to be ignored and in Congress we are now having Koran prayers against non Muslims and for getting rid of those who disagree with Islam when Muslims aren’t even supposed to be in this country. Their crap of killing or converting non Muslims and the horrible slavery of women under Islam is not compatible with our culture and for our courts to okay having coitus of females removed so they can’t have sexual pleasure but Muslim men get to keep their balls because females are to be treated as lower than animals, our Congress needs to start enforcing the previous law passed by a previous Congress to ensure that our culture and Constitution survives. Islam is not a religion but a party with it’s overall policy is to move into countries and make them Islam countries not melt into the culture of the country and allow the religions of the countries to live as always instead of wiping out those who don’t want Islam. That is the opposite of our Constitution and our culture.

I support the War Veteran, Senator Lawson and God Bless him for doing what a lot of us would have done, given the opportunity. What is wrong with our officials that they invite this kind of anti-American rhetoric into our core institutions? Freedom of religion is one thing, but Christians are facing persecution and disdain all over the world, and Muslims are being celebrated when they hate us. This kind of apathetic display from members of our government is why we are in the situation we are in today. Corrupt government, elected officials with no moral code and accepting of situations and actions that never would have been tolerated before and all in the name of political correctness. This has got to stop, but do the people participating in this erosion of our countries values even ‘get’ what is going on? We the people have to do our bit by electing more people like Senator Lawson who has fought and will continue to fight for the rest of us that are still ‘sane’. God help us all!

I can give you proof how phony the Muslim Religion is : Mohammed, who started this religion tried to get the Jews to convert and they would not have anything to do with it ! So, he tried the Christians ( remember he came approx 500 yrs after Christ), they too refused so when the Quran was written, he took portions of the Jewish faith and portions of the Christian Faith so as to entice these religions to join his cult. I`ll give you an example, the Quran believes that Christ was born from a Virgin Birth through the Blessed Virgin Mary. Christians also believe this ! Now, if that is the case, he made a serious error because how can they regard Christ as a mere profit when he is born through a virgin while Mohammed was born of an Earthly birth and yet they hold him up as their God ??
